A plain-language note for people using this BhatGPT site. This is not legal advice and is not a substitute for counsel on Indian DPDP or other privacy law.

What stays on your device

On the public apex experience, BhatGPT is mostly a static app. Preferences and session helpers are stored in your browser with keys prefixed bhatgpt:, for example:

• Language choice
• Waitlist name/email you typed (device-only on this static site — no email is sent from apex)
• Downloaded / saved pooja markers and progress timers
• Mock support receipt markers (demo only)

Clearing site data in your browser removes these. We do not invent a claim of third-party analytics on this page.

Waitlist

The waitlist form on this static site saves what you enter in localStorage on this device. It does not send email from the apex demo. If a future hosted backend is enabled elsewhere, that would be disclosed separately.

Payments

Support / offering flows are mock. No real charge is taken. Receipts shown are simulated (₹0 charged).

Audio & sacred content

Demo or synthetic audio is labeled as such and is not Guruji’s recorded chanting. Mantras and liturgy already in the app are curated copy — we do not invent new sacred text here. Formal sacred review remains a human escalation.

Accounts & server features

Some TREE/local builds include auth, festival plans, or APIs. Those are not part of the static apex demos unless clearly present. Guest use of the static site does not require an account.
